i'd be hard pressed to give a definite answer as to which calls more importantly for attending to: a washing machine that has just flooded over the bathroom floor when the door came ajar, or an international telephone call from my favourite. they, shall we say, fall on different levels of immediacy. because i am very fast when it comes to malfunctioning things that i would prefer to not to continue in their ways, i was not actually forced to choose between the two for very long. the errant youth now sports two strips of duct tape substitute; the clear stuff was sufficient to keep my clothes in their box while moving from Ann Arbor (via Chicago, via Pittsburgh, via Lancaster, via Akron, via Lancaster, via Philadelphia, via New York, via Philadelphia, via Washington DC, via Vienna, via Sarajevo) to Beograd, primarily using public transportation, and now it seems capable of keeping them inside a moving vehicle of a different sort.
